VI3日本語版が公開されたが。

ヴイエムウェアの日本語サイトにてVI3の日本語版が公開されているが、どうも英語版と同じ物な気がしてならないというかmd5のハッシュ値見る限り同じ物でした。esx3とvc2両方とも全く同じ。うーん？実は既に英語版の方にも日本語の言語セットが用意されてたとか？30日に公開されるものとは違うのだろうか・・・

これは実際なった。

After upgrading ESX Server from 2.5.x to 3.0.1, the VI Client displays the CPU hyperthreading state as disabled even though it was enabled prior to the upgrade. This is a display problem rather than an actual state change—the underlying configuration retains the correct CPU hyperthreading state. You can fix the display by changing the state in the VI Client. You do not need to reboot the ESX Server.

というわけでどうでもいいらしいが。

If you haven't started the upgrade yet, you can either start it and ignore the message, as described above, or you can remove the old VMware Tools version and replace it with the new version. If you chose the latter course, use the rpm -e VMware Tools command to remove the 3.0.0 version of VMware Tools. Then, install the 3.0.1 version with the rpm -ihv command.

だったらupgradeマニュアルに最初からそう書いて頂きたい。
